On June 7th, 2015, I had the chance to attend the Lincolnshire-Riverwoods Fire Protection District’s open house in celebration of their 75th anniversary. It was a great event full of history, community spirit, and impressive displays of fire equipment. Here are some of the photos I captured.

Several fire companies were on display at the event, including:

• Engine Company 51
• Engine Company 52
• Truck Company 53
• Squad Company 51
• Battalion 51
• Ambulances 51, 52, and 53
• Dive/Rehab Unit 51
• Utility Unit 51
• Chief Vehicles 5100, 5101, and 5102

It was fascinating to see all the different units and learn more about how they work together to serve the community.
