On September 18th, three projects including the energy-saving technological transformation of the tail gas of the 30,000-kilovolt closed type calcium carbide furnace of Xinjiang Tianye (Group) Co., Ltd. passed the acceptance check. The project belongs to the national "Eleventh Five-Year" period of resource conservation and environmental protection project. The project team tackles the problem of low efficiency of comprehensive utilization of closed-end calcium carbide furnace exhaust gas in China, adopts the latest domestic dry dust removal supporting wet purification process technology, implements technical transformation of the original Aiken dry dedusting device, and achieves deep purification of tail gas. The dedusting treatment was performed to meet the standards of chemical fuel gas, and sent to Tianye Power Plant, chemical plant, and lime kiln as fuel gas to replace coal and natural gas. The comprehensive utilization of calcium carbide tail gas was realized. After the project is implemented, 150 million cubic meters of exhaust gas can be purified annually, saving 17,400 tons of standard coal, and the economic and environmental benefits are significant.
