Kongsberger Signs Supply Contract with Truck Manufacturer for $13.2 Million

Consboger, a Norwegian auto parts supplier, announced that it has reached a supply agreement with a renowned truck manufacturer to supply the latter with hose assembly products for the manufacture of turbocharger and coolant equipment.
Kongsberger said that the supply agreement is valid for 5 years and involves 10 million euros (about 13.2 million US dollars). The production activities of the supply agreement are expected to take place at the Epila plant in Spain in 2013.
Jonathan Day, executive vice president of the Kongsberg Fluid Handling Systems Business Unit, said: “2012 was our most successful year in winning new business. It also proves that our product line and engineering technology are sufficient for the truck and bus business. High-temperature products are the core of our success."
Since the beginning of this year, the LiquidTransferSystems business has accumulated a new contract valued at 108 million euros (about 143 million US dollars). The duration of the supply agreement is usually 4 to 6 years.
