House fire in Tinley Park, 3/7/15
This is a report from Kevin Griffin: The Tinley Park Fire Department was dispatched to a house fire at 17213 68th Court. Engine 201 arrived first, with visible smoke coming from the structure. On scene, the responding units included Tinley’s Battalion 201, Engines 201, 202 (using engine 213), and 203, as well as Truck 204. Additional support came from Oak Forest Engine 900 and Engine 12, along with Orland Battalion 3 and Truck 4. Several firefighters were seen working quickly to contain the blaze, with multiple units on high alert. The incident appears to have been handled efficiently, though the cause of the fire is still under investigation.
