In 2013, the Park Ridge Fire Department replaced its 1998 Ford Econoline Van with a new 2013 Ford Expedition Command Vehicle. The old van has been reassigned as Utility 36 and also serves as a backup (reserve) command unit. This new Expedition is now the primary command vehicle for Battalion 36.
