New Ferrara deliveries

Ferrara Fire Apparatus recently delivered three new fire apparatus to local departments, with a fourth unit expected to arrive soon. These new units mark an important upgrade for the communities they serve, bringing modern technology and enhanced capabilities to their emergency response efforts. The Calumet Park Fire Department took delivery of a 2011 HD100 rear-mount tower ladder mounted on an HME Spectr chassis (H-4681). This unit is equipped with a 1,500-GPM pump and 300 gallons of water, making it well-suited for high-rise and complex fire incidents. The new tower ladder will significantly enhance the department’s ability to respond to a wide range of emergencies. Glenside Fire District received a 2011 Ferrara Igniter pumper (H-4574) featuring a 1,500-GPM pump and 1,000 gallons of water. This engine is designed for fast response and efficient firefighting operations, ensuring that the district can handle both structure fires and other critical incidents with confidence. Huntley Fire District welcomed its new 2011 Ferrara engine, built on an Ember chassis (H-4717), which includes a 1,500-GPM pump and 750 gallons of water. This unit will serve as Engine 944 and is expected to play a vital role in the district’s fire suppression efforts. Each of these units represents a significant investment in public safety and reflects Ferrara Fire Apparatus’ commitment to delivering reliable, high-quality equipment tailored to the needs of first responders. With these new additions, each department is better prepared to protect their communities.
