The "Shaanxi Xi'an Highway Maintenance Technology Engineering Research Center" is set to be established within the new industrial park of the Xi'an High-tech Zone. On September 14, 2006, the Shaanxi Provincial Development and Reform Commission convened a review meeting to evaluate the feasibility study report for the establishment of the "Shaanxi Xi'an Highway Maintenance Technology Engineering Research Center." The meeting was attended by members of the Communications Department's Accreditation Committee, the management committee of the Xi'an High-tech Zone, as well as experts from the provincial highway industry. During the session, the Shaanxi Provincial Engineering Consulting Center presented the comprehensive feasibility study report, while the supporting entity of the research center, Xi'an Gaoyuan Highway Maintenance Technology Co., Ltd., also provided detailed information on its capabilities and plans. Following the presentations, the committee conducted an on-site inspection and engaged in thorough discussions regarding the project’s viability and potential impact. After careful consideration, the experts unanimously agreed that the establishment of the "Shaanxi Xi'an Highway Maintenance Technology Engineering Research Center" is both necessary and feasible. They strongly recommended that the Provincial Development and Reform Commission approve the project at the earliest opportunity to facilitate its timely implementation. This initiative is expected to contribute significantly to technological innovation and infrastructure development in the region.
