Recently, a controllable reactor model suitable for the construction of ultra-high voltage and UHV power grids was successfully developed by TBEA Shenneng Group. The model that is scaled down by the ratio of 100 to 1 of the physical product contains all the components of the actual product. And various static and dynamic characteristics, can be used for future development and testing of similar products and the provision of steady-state and transient process test data.

The actual product of this model will be used as an important pilot product of the Jingzhou 500kV converter station. It will be operated in the 500kV ultra-high voltage power transmission and transformation project in China, and will end a gap in the field of high-voltage controllable reactors in China.

The development of key equipment for this UHV transmission and transformation project was developed in response to the call of the National Development and Reform Commission and the State Grid Corporation for the construction of UHV transmission projects, which was developed to promote the localization of UHV equipment.

As the development of the product is related to the construction of China's UHV power grid and the application prospect of controllable reactors in ultra-high voltage and ultra-high voltage power grids, Shenchang Group attaches great importance to the development of this product, and has sent technicians to Ukraine, Russia and other countries. After a series of technical exchanges and the model manufacturing plan passed the review, Shenchang immediately organized the physical manufacturing and successfully completed the manufacturing task in just one week.
