Shanghai Standards Institute's five reference materials passed the national first-class reference material final review

[ Instrument Network Instrument Development ] This year, five DNA standard substances such as Vibrio cholerae ompW gene plasmid developed by Shanghai Metrology Institute applied for national first-class reference material grading and appraisal, and successfully passed the national organization organized by the National Standards Substance Management Committee. The final review of the standard reference materials will be issued by the State Administration of Markets and Administration.
As a measurement standard with accurate values, reference materials have been widely used in chemical measurement, biometrics, engineering measurement and physical measurement.
The "Measurement Law" clearly stipulates that the reference materials can be traced back to the source in the areas where the national measurement standards and measurement standards are not applicable. Primary standard materials are more stringent than secondary standard materials in terms of development techniques and review requirements.
Since the development of reference materials in the early 1980s, Shanghai Metrology Institute has obtained more than 400 national first- and second-level reference materials through decades of painstaking research and scientific precipitation. Project, 358 national standard materials, and won 7 Shanghai Science and Technology Progress Awards.
In recent years, Shanghai Metrology Institute has made important breakthroughs in sample preparation and characteristic value determination, laying a foundation for the successful declaration of five DNA national first-class reference materials this year.
