On April 3, Yantai Raffles Shipbuilding Co., Ltd. successfully delivered a cylindrical oil storage and processing vessel to Norwegian company SEVAN MARINE AS in Yantai. This groundbreaking project marks a significant milestone in the company's offshore engineering capabilities. The vessel, valued at over $60 million and weighing 11,000 tons, was carefully transported onto a semi-submersible ship using five specially designed slides. The launch process was executed with precision, highlighting the advanced engineering and technical expertise of the Yantai team. Designed for operation in diverse marine environments, this versatile vessel boasts impressive dimensions: a maximum diameter of 65.15 meters, a main body diameter of 60 meters, and a total height of 45.8 meters. Its main hull stands at 27 meters tall, with an empty draft of 11.2 meters and a loaded draft of 18.2 meters. The ship is also equipped with a helicopter landing platform, enhancing its operational flexibility. In terms of functionality, the vessel features a refinery capable of processing 30,000 barrels of crude oil per day, a gas injection station with a daily compression capacity of 3.6 million cubic meters, and a storage capacity of 300,000 barrels of crude oil. These advanced systems make it ideal for offshore oil processing and storage operations.
