House fire in Frankfort 1-15-13

Just got word of a structure fire in Frankfort. It's currently under control, but things were pretty intense for a while. The incident happened at the intersection of S 80th Avenue and W Woodvale Road, where a vacant house was fully engulfed when the firefighters arrived.

The Frankfort Fire Department was first on the scene, with visible flames shooting out from the building. I also saw several other emergency vehicles arriving shortly after—apparently, they were dispatched to support the initial response. It’s always good to see everyone working together during these situations.
