Difficult to select rare earth mineral recovery technology

For the primary ore of fluorocarbon persimmon or monazite, the industrial grade index generally requires Ce 2 O 3 >1%; for monazite ore, the content of monazite mineral is greater than 300g/m 3 . Fluorocarbon persimmon mines are mainly recovered by flotation; monazite is usually recycled by re-election, magnetic separation, and electric separation, and flotation is used in individual stages of the process. Xenotime is selected from titanium, zirconium byproduct minerals, usually reselection, electrostatic separation, high intensity magnetic separation joint process sorting, but this method is not applicable to fines. In recent years, the process of recovering antimony concentrate by flotation has attracted attention. Ion-adsorbed rare earth ores are adsorbed in clay minerals such as kaolinite, halloysite, quartz , montmorillonite and illite. The ion-adsorbed rare earth ore does not need to be broken, and the rare earth oxide is recovered by a chemical beneficiation method. In the 1970s, the production process was infiltration of salt water - oxalic acid to precipitate rare earth, and the mother liquor was recycled after treatment with caustic soda. In the early 1980s, the infiltration facility was improved and the mother liquor recovery was changed to lime milk neutralization and regeneration. Ammonium sulfate solution infiltration - oxalic acid precipitation rare earth - burning process is a major production process.
