Suzhou Jinlong: New Energy Bus has sold 1600 vehicles


According to Li Jiang, deputy director of Jinlong United Automotive Industry (Suzhou) Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “Suzhou Jinlong”) Technology Center, the Hager brand passenger cars produced by Suzhou Golden Dragon sold a total of 843 new energy buses in January-June 2013. Since Suzhou Golden Dragon sold new energy buses, it has sold about 1,600 vehicles.

The reporter participated in the first China Bus Summit held in Beijing on December 10, 2013. Li Jiang said at the meeting that the hybrid buses in Suzhou Golden Dragon had significant energy-saving and emission-reducing effects, and the fuel consumption per 100 km of hybrid electric buses was 19L. Gas-electric hybrid buses consume only 25 cubic meters of natural gas in 100 kilometers.

A market researcher from Suzhou Jinlong told reporters that with the introduction of a new round of subsidy standards for new energy vehicles and the announcement of a demonstration city promotion list, Higer has already begun to restart sales of new energy buses.

The development of new energy passenger vehicles requires a breakthrough in lightening the body. Li Jiang said that the full load-carrying body of the Hager passenger car weighs 600 kg to 700 kg less than the half-loaded vehicle body. At present, the body of passenger cars in China is 8% heavier than that of European passenger cars. However, with the continuous efforts of domestic car manufacturers, the weight gap between China and Europe will be reduced by 1% each year.
