According to industry sources, the price of similar small high-speed CNC machines on the market is around 150,000 yuan, while comparable foreign models can cost as much as 400,000 yuan. Lu Qijian, General Manager of Sikai Company, emphasized that the Sky2003N is compact in design but offers an impressive processing range. It supports both high-speed engraving and high-speed light milling, making it highly versatile for various industrial applications. The machine’s performance metrics are not only on par with leading international brands like Siemens and HEIDENHAIN but in some cases even exceed them. It's worth noting that over 97% of CNC machine tools currently used in China are imported, highlighting the country's long-standing reliance on foreign technology. With the Sky2003N, Nanjing Sikai has introduced a product that matches global standards in performance but at a fraction of the cost—approximately one-third of the price of its foreign counterparts. This innovation is expected to significantly reduce dependency on imports and boost domestic competitiveness in the manufacturing sector.
