Hey everyone, I wanted to share some exciting updates on the new fire truck we've ordered. The unit is an SVI body mounted on a Sutphen Ambassador chassis. The chassis is scheduled to arrive at the SVI plant next week, and once it's there, the assembly process will begin in earnest.

The current plan is for the truck to be completed by early fall, but so far everything is going smoothly, and it may be finished even sooner than expected. I'll keep you all posted as more details come in.

I’ve attached a PDF of the preliminary graphics from SVI. These have been approved, with one small change — the lettering will be done in gold leaf instead of the orange shown in the design. I’ve also included a photo of the body subframe and six images showing the fabrication work being done at SVI.
