Working Principle
The Filtering Process Media filters, also known as depth filters, operate by passing water through a thick layer of graded particles, referred to as the filter bed. These particles can be sand, gravel, or other granular materials. The filtration efficiency depends on the effective size of the media and the water velocity through the filter.
Raw water enters from the filter inlet (1) and percolates through the filter bed (2). Suspended materials come into contact with the media particles and attach to them. Clean water flows through the filtration nozzles (3) and exits via the outlet valve (4).
As dirt accumulates in the filter bed, the pressure differential across the filter increases. When it reaches its maximum design value, a cleaning process should be initiated. In automatic media filters, a pressure differential switch detects this and triggers the self-cleaning process.
The Cleaning Process
Cleaning is achieved through backwashing, where pressurized water flows in the reverse direction—upwards from the nozzles, causing the filter bed to suspend and release the trapped suspended matter. The dirt particles are then washed out through the back-flush valve. In automatic systems, the controller initiates the cleaning process when the pressure differential reaches a preset value.

Company Introduction
       In 2002, Dawn Environmental Protection Technology Co., Ltd. was founded, which is an emerging technology company specialized in environmental water treatment.
