DAYUE manufactures a range of splined and gear shafts for various industries.

Typical uses are heavy duty steering gear for commercial and earth moving vehicles.

It is also widely used in commercial winches, transmission fields, new energy, semiconductors, dynamic brakes, classic vehicles and many other industries that require forward drive systems.

Splines are ridges on the teeth cut on the drive shaft that engage with grooves in the mating piece and transmit torque to it, keeping the angles between them corresponding and can be used in many mechanical transmissions. Helical and Spur Gears can also be cut on the shaft to provide dual drives as required by certain industries.

DAYUE can manufacture splines on shafts that are routinely cut on gear cutters, or we can manufacture shafts and splines in a single unit on our 5-axis Integrex machines, ensuring full concentricity between shaft and splines.
