Fire Service, Inc. is excited to announce that the City of Aurora Fire Department has once again chosen us as their ambulance provider, this time purchasing a new Wheeled Coach Type 1 Ford F550 gas ambulance. This latest ambulance has been specially designed to meet the unique operational demands of the department. It features a curbside forward entry for quick access, an ergonomically located ALS cabinet, full aluminum interior cabinetry, and a patented Cool Bar HVAC system for optimal temperature control. The vehicle also includes Whelen emergency warning systems and the Stryker Power Load System, ensuring both efficiency and safety during transport.

With IMMI-controlled deceleration restraints and the Safeguard Box Frame, Aurora’s ambulances are built to provide the highest level of protection for both patients and crew. Innovations like the AntiCor Protection System, combined with the ToughCoat Paint process, deliver a durable, high-performance finish that resists corrosion and lasts for years.
