CFD B-Model Mack engine

This message is from Dennis McGuire, Jr. Here are some photos of a 1956 Mack B-Model that he recently discovered in Calumet City back in March 2012. The fire truck is marked with CFD Shop Number D-307 and has the serial number B95F-1042. The vehicle has an interesting history with the Chicago Fire Department: - Delivered: March 16, 1956 - Assigned to Engine 27: June 8, 1956 – February 18, 1963 - Moved to Engine 25: February 18, 1963 – December 19, 1969 - Then to Engine 8: January 1, 1970 – July 27, 1970 - Later assigned to Engine 92: November 25, 1970 – July 12, 1973 - Transferred to Engine 76: December 31, 1973 – February 5, 1976 - Finally to Engine 56: January 26, 1976 – January 13, 1977 Dennis took several pictures of the engine, showing its current condition. The truck is now in a state of disrepair, with visible rust and signs of age. Below are the images:
