Recently, the Ningbo Metering Center has successfully tested more than 500,000 intelligent energy meters, adding a powerful boost to the promotion and application of smart energy meters in Ningbo.

The promotion of smart energy meter work is an important step for the conversion of the power supply system to the smart grid, and it is an inevitable requirement for smart marketing. According to the promotion plan of the Ningbo Bureau, the metering center has worked overtime and points four times this year in order to ensure smooth rotation of the power supply bureaus.

According to Hemin Office of the Production Technology Section of Ningbo Bureau of Metrology, in order to strengthen the quality management of the meter, improve the verification efficiency, ensure the accuracy and reliability of the practical application of the meter in Ningbo, and create a good atmosphere for the promotion of new meter applications. In the first half of this year, the center updated the key of the smart energy meter, strictly followed the test procedures for each item of the meter in accordance with the verification procedures; increased the indoor analog field meter reading mode and ensured that each meter accurately recorded the power through the infrared mode. The establishment of test personnel smart energy meter training plan, on-time professional technical knowledge training to enhance the test personnel business knowledge and practical ability. Strictly apply good metering, inspection, comparison, and full inspection. Implement the information system of quality monthly report of smart meter, analyze the quality of tracking meter, and strengthen the supervision and management of meter quality. The project to upgrade the scientific and technological innovations for the verification of benches was carried out to solve various technical problems in the verification work, especially the time-consuming problems of manual wiring, and the efficiency of verification was improved. Formulated the "Smart Energy Meter Propaganda Scheme" and launched "publicity of smart energy meter into the community" and other publicity and promotion activities, which won the public's understanding and support.

According to statistics, there are 400,000 users of new smart energy meters in Ningbo, and it is expected that nearly 200,000 power users will use smart energy meters in the second half of the year.
